When I first saw the trailer it made me think of Wall-E, the funny thing is that there are several Wall-E moments. The movie had potential, there are a lot of ideas to exploit, plus Tom Cruise sends it home nicely, and the visuals are very well crafted. The problem is that it falls short on development. It hops around very easily and everything is either left hanging or easily fixed. Also, the slow pensive moments are too slow and the ending too convenient.
